If you came along to our stand at Surface Design Show 2023 earlier this month, you will have seen our Geometric Superstructure modular stand. Constructed of expressive 3D forms, our superstructure showcases the scale, style and versatility of our materials.

With every show, we like to ensure that the different elements of our exhibition stands are reused, reimagined, or repurposed. It’s all part of our zero-waste philosophy, where everything is put to use and nothing goes to waste.

So we’re very happy to say that the plinths from our Geometric Superstructure are being reused by two different firms at the Workspace Design Show at London’s Business Design Centre next week. They are being split across different areas - one designed by The Furniture Practice x BDP, the other by M Moser Associates.

The Furniture Practice are collaborating with design practice BDP on one of the Design Talks areas of Workspace Design Show. Their design concept is focused around circularity, with the area utilising recyclable and recycled materials, including some of the plinths from our geometric superstructure.

Our plinths will also be used by M Moser Associates in their design of the all-important bar area of Workspace Design Show. Their design is based on their mission to design sustainably reusing and repurposing materials.

We’re very excited to see our plinths reused in this way by talented designers who share our passion for innovative circular design.

Sustainability is top of the agenda at Workspace Design Show, with talks focussing on the impact of workplace design on the natural environment and how recycled, reused and biomaterials in workspace design projects can help to shape a low-carbon future. It’s an ideal opportunity for us to showcase our materials, which are so well suited to modern, agile, low-carbon workspaces. They can be employed in a wide spectrum of workspace applications, from counters, partitions and bars to furniture, frames and shelving.

There’s an added bonus of seeing our plinths at the show, as it’s also a chance for a sneak peek of our soon-to-be launched Heron Wash materials which were used to build the super-structures. These brand new materials are colour washed versions of our very popular Heron material. Whilst the original Heron features feathery soft grey tones, the Heron Washes will use a palette of muted, pastel tones for an added splash of colour.

The new washes will be in stock soon and we can’t wait to share them with you. Watch this space for more updates soon.

Workspace Design Show takes place at London’s Business Design Centre on 27th and 28th February. You can register for free here, and stay tuned to our social media channels for updates.
