Designing to promote wellbeing in the workplace

Work Series II table by Another Country is a versatile piece for reception or breakout areas, for hosting informal meetings, or as a modular office desk. It features a removable surface in Alba, with glimmers of metal from the foil lids creating intrigue and individuality. Combined with circular eucalyptus wood legs, the table has a lovely tactile quality that can be further enhanced with cork and natural wool privacy panels.

The piece showcases the studio's desire to design a workplace table with a minimal pre-offset carbon footprint, no harmful VOCs, and highly renewable 100% recycled materials. It can also be disassembled to be repurposed or recycled and was awarded the Dezeen Public vote for workplace design of the year, 2022.
