Organic Opulence is said to “embrace slow design, using living slime mould to create jewellery that grows and evolves. This project encourages wearers to nurture their pieces, fostering a mindful and contemplative lifestyle. Unlike traditional costume jewellery, which promotes quick consumption and disposability, each piece in Organic Opulence transforms over time, making you an active part of its journey.”

The Design Council judges were impressed by the, “innovative approach to breaking down the systemic issues related to the fast fashion and jewellery industries by integrating sustainable bio-material and technology”, presenting him with a ticket, accommodation and travel to attend the Design Council’s upcoming Design For Planet Festival.
