With a nod to the slate quarries and caverns rooted in our Welsh heritage, our new Slate material comprises a palette of deep mossy green with glimmers of white. Taking visual inspiration from the nuanced tones of earthy material matter, subtle detailing, created through Slate’s unique material mix, results in a dynamic, engaging textural effect suited to contemporary commercial interior schemes.

Available in thicknesses of 12mm and 20mm.

The listed board thicknesses are nominal. Thermal expansion of some sheets can be 2mm per metre over a 10 degree Celsius range.

Pattern Examples

We make up batches of Slate material in 5-10 tonne lots and batches will vary depending on the type of packaging we find. There will always be a base brown, though the shade and intensity will vary between batches, and occasionally there may be a few inclusions of another colour.

Panel Information

We are a batch manufacturer using craft techniques to make our products. We source a variety of raw materials, and therefore the patterns and colours in our surfaces can vary between batches. If you need to minimise colour variation, please discuss your needs with us before ordering, so we can ensure all your products come from the same batch.

We work hard to ensure our panels are as free from blemishes as possible, but by their nature, no two panels are the same. For us, every quirk, imperfection and mottle tells a different recycling story. Panels are supplied with a single-sided semi-matt finish as standard, and can also be supplied double-sided should your intended application require it. Please specify this when ordering.
